Default Dayton DSP help

Can I use the volume on this slider to get my voltage higher to my amp?

I have a SD1200.4-4 and GZ yellow’s in my 21 Ultra, front two speakers is all I'm running through the amp

If I max out the amp gain dial, I get 14 volts

if I leave the volume on the Dayton slider at default -20, and set my GTS volume to 3 bars lower than max I get a gain max of 4.0v

if I adjust this slider up, I can get up to 32v..... but only need @ the 27v that the equation spits out

is using this slider ok or not..... should I max the DSP volume slider and then work the amp gain up to the 27v that I need?
Or bump the slider and amp gain setting to the 27v?

Thats not a gain setting, but that setting is low.....Push it up to -5 or so and then reset your gains. I cant remember where my master volume is set exactly, but I had my amp gains set at about 1/4 turn to get 38v.

Which isolator did you get?

Ok, ordered a SM DD-1 and Lumi O scope, along with the Garage Bagger breakout harness with filters & front and rear RCA's and a 2nd filter for lower speakers in the the Hogtunes lowers

Going to slowly wade into the deep end :-)

I didn't have any luck trying to use those lumi scopes. For setting gains by volts, works great. but for an o-scope, I didn't like it.

I'm anxious to see if its worth anything nor not, I would get a better benchtop Scope if necessary, but would rather not for this one time deal

The graphics just to me didnt smooth out enough to be confident in knowing a clipped signal from a clean one. You SMD will be worth it though.

1khz test tone at 39 v or so doesn't clip. But looking at the graph it seems to show clipping.
