I could be wrong, but from what iv seen, there is a software update for the Rushmore models 2014 and up, to when Harley made android auto standard, that can make it possible to use android auto. Watch Maxwell motorcycles on youtube
**** let me try that. didnt think of turning up the VOL up.
Thanks Fellas
There is not a software update for the 2014 and up for android auto and carplay. When I first read about this sometime ago, I thought the same thing. It was later clarified to say that if you purchased the new GTS radio, it could be installed in a 2014 - 2018 to allow for carplay. Later, android auto was added.

I stand corrected. I'm glad I haven't spent time screwing around with that.
Thanks for the info

Lots of very knowledgeable folks on this site. I can't help you, but my 2014 plays iPod through the USB, but iPhone won't play (streaming). Need to use BT which is no big deal so I never bothered to figure it out. But why I really replied is I'm originally from Binghamton. Grew up eating spiedies and skiing at Greek Peak. Haven't been there in 3 years, need to get back up there next summer.
Did you try BT the android phone and then going into Media on the radio and selecting your phone as the source??

Across the bridge from Newburg - and, across the river from West Point. My bet is you have been there - just didn't realize it.
I use to go up your way quite a bit - had a friend, Arthur Glick - owned the truck dealership in Monticello
