Hi,
I have been running an SPX 700x4 bridged to 2 channel powering 2 GZ 6.5s in my fairing of my 17 UL. I was using a BT line leveler from the speaker outputs of the factory head unit. Tonight, I removed the BT LL and connected the HU speaker outs directly to the amp in preparation of a RF flash. Cut off the RCA inputs and connected to the amp inputs. I turned on the radio to check my connections and the whole thing sounds terrible, muffled, distorted the whole works. I know that the RF flash flattens the factory sound curve but will it rectify this? Is there anything else that needs to be done with this amp to switch from RCA to speaker level input? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
