Default DD Audio?

Anyone here have experience with DD Audio?
I'm looking at possibly running the DD Audio vomnx65 6.5's in my lower and upper fairings on my 13 SG with the vob3 tweeters.
The amp will be Stinger spx 700.4.

I wasn't able to find that speaker but I found this VO-MN6.5. The Stinger puts out 175 @ 2 ohms which how I guess is how you are wiring this. That amp seems a bit lite on paper. Will a DSP be in play? Look at this https://www.hdforums.com/forum/audio...ispreloading=1

I run DD audio 25mm tweeters in my self modified HogTunes tweeter pod. (There is a thread about the mod on this forum)
They are still working great with just being powered by the aftermarket head unit.

Beyond that I don't have any experience with them, but I know the local high end car audio shop I bought them from uses ALOT of DD Audio products in their builds.

My guess is be a little light on power if they are a true mid speaker. And as mentioned before, you would want a dsp for running them.
I would look more into coax speakers. The DD vo-xn6.5 would be good, especially in the lowers because of their small design.

I would suggest mmats pa601cx in fairing and DD vo-xn6.5 in the lowers, if your using the stinger amp.

A few years ago the DD audio speaker (vo6.5) was the go to speaker for anyone wanting any mid bass at all in their fairing. But nowadays there are others that seem to be the favorite choice. GZ coaxials mmats coax and several horn loaded coax speakers such as diamond audio beyma euphoria etc I think the DD wouldn’t be a bad choice
