Finally got my new bike Friday and a rather unexpected change. I had planned on. 22 Street Glide Special and a very close friend is a GM of 6 major dealerships and he had been looking for a black on black. Well the phone rang and he said hey brother Im going to send you some photos of a bike, if you dont like it, no worries, I should have what youd like in a month.
Well he knows me all to well. Gauntlet Gray Metallic Blacked Out Ultra Limited, picked it up Friday and he hooked me up.
Now my question. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and Id really prefer to keep my tunes on an iPod and not my phone, that has a ton of photos. Any suggestions on the better or best iPod to use? Im planning to put my Amazon tunes on it.
People still use ipods? I assume itll connect with a usb so you could use a flash drive or for steaming just keep the phone... Im sure there's a zune somewhere for sale as well lol
I used an iPod for a while, it worked ok, but getting it to do its thing, turn on & off or play lists got to be a hassle. Got me one of these and moved my music (MP3) to it, small and leaves some room in the little box for other things.

The only iPod that may work is a new Touch. Harley made all other iPods I.e. Nano non compatible with the GTS. Greed has no boundaries with Harley.
Since I have a Road King, I'm not that familiar with the Boom Box.. But.. It appears you can load your music library on a USB stick and play it through the bike's stereo. (I have a car and a Jeep Wrangler.. I use USB sticks for both vehicles rather than my phone).

not technically true as my buddy runs a pair of old iPod touch of an age that cannot be upgraded (iOS 5.1.1). He uses them to record USA based radio stations via TuneIn (the old version of the app that let you record) and plugs it into his GTS for playback
many of these forced changes come courtesy of Apple, as they want to rob you of your money more than the Harley Tax.
BUT all of this as side OP, go flash drive and throw all your tunes on that.
Cheap as chips <<<pun intended and you dont lose so much sleep IF they went walkabout out of your joke-box <sic> compartment
Any of the iPods will work. Get one with the amount of memory you want.
I’m with you, I don’t use my phone for everything. Multi tools are jack of all trades master of none. I see my phone as a multi tool

If anyone has an iPod other than a new Touch working with the GTS please let us know. I think many like myself would be interested.
