I would like some feedback on how these components would play together and if I should look for a different route.
Front Fairing Speakers 6.5 ground zero yellow basket coax powered by a Sound Digital 400x4 bridged.
Rear Tour pak Speakers 2 Hertz sx165 Neo powered buy a Sound Digital 400x2.
Would be running a pair of bt355's.
I guess am I running the speaker pairs underpowered or over powered. I am open to other ideas and suggestions but I already have the Hertz speakers so I would like to keep them in the system preferably in the tour pak because of the easy drop in.
That will work, just manage your expectations.. Those are both way better options than stock, if you can get the radio flashed I would go that route and then use a regular line out converters instead of the BT355's for the cost of the BT355 you will be cheaper going with a flash and regular LOC's.... A DSP would be icing on the cake but, with Coax speakers you will be fine and better off than someone who had bike week fever and spent 2k+ on J&M or Soundz..
When you say manage my expectations what are you referring too?
These are 6.5" speakers, they will not produce bass on a bike! Yes they are loud with said power, but there is still somethings to really make them shine ie.. a DSP and proper tuning.. The proper power will also affect the cross over setting.
