I was able to Bluetooth to DSP without opening up fairing. Very simple.
Here are the settings on the DSP from installer. Again, he said these were the starting points from Cicada directly.
I’m not sure what the crossover screen means, but EQ I have a basic knowledge of.
any suggestions on getting some of the brightness out?
Did you have the radio flashed?
It looks you have ZERO mid-bass in that setup. -20db on 80 Hz and -9db on 500 Hz (If I'm reading your screenshots correctly). Which will make your ears bleed. The highs are already cut like crazy. But all of these will depend if your HU is flashed or not. I know Cicada has a "non-flashed" EQ setting. Not sure if this is it or not.
Just sent email asking flash name, invoice didn’t list the specific flash used.
I don't like to rag on shops, but man...... They should of done some adjusting before letting you hear it. It's pretty basic shix there for an "audio" shop.
Went into app, used the preset “HD Flashed-Horns” which had these settings
This made a world of difference in lows and highs!!
Sounds great, 100% better…again, not sure if this is the best the system can deliver, but it SO much better!
