1996 FLHTCUI Radio Noise or Upgrade to modern system
Good Afternoon from "Over the Pond"!
Had a quick look on the Audio forum for any info on my original HD stock mounted radio/cassette noise with low/high revs, so guess it's either an earthing fault (grounding as you Yanks call it) at the amplifier, noise suppression on spark plugs, or maybe a loose connection via wiring.
I was thinking of upgrading the unit to a more modern system and would welcome any suggestions from you Mod Converts with experience of installing a newer system taking into account an off the shelf fitting set up. I'd rather not add any further holes to the fairing to make fit. Also, I'd need some tips with fairing removal please.
