Default Lost fade function, boom 6.5

Have a 6.5 Boom II system on 17 street glide. Noticed my rear speakers output level at nearly nothing. Checked for the fade control in the audio settings and its not showing. Any Idea's? Will probably pull the power to the system and power it back up to see what that does. Maybe this is just the push I needed to replace the Boom II stuff since in sounds just a notch above pathetic.

Is this a CVO bike? What is the total system? Did it ever have fade?

Not a CVO. SG special that had a load of changes / upgrades done when new. Boom stage II was one of them. Has two amps. Fairing and saddle bag spreakers. Yes it had the fade function. Pulling the main fuse for 5 min had no effect. The head unit has another quirk or two occasionally. If I was listening to the tuner when shut down, it will sometimes, at start up, start playing the media (USB).

Maybe the rear amp isn't communicating with the HU? These Boom! amps and HU communicate over the CAN bus. Is the bike throwing any DTCs? Check for B and U codes using instructions found here.

I'll check for codes this evening. Also will check the connection on the connector to the Right bag. I can hear some output in the bags speakers but you have to have your ear just about on top of the speaker.
