Adding a second pair to my Glide...
I have a 2011 Street Glide 103. Stock stereo.
Getting ready to install the 7.25” J&M High Performance Rokker Faring speakers in my faring. Soon I want to install a set of speakers in my bags, at that time I will do a four channel amp.
My question: I understand the dealer can flash the stereo so the fader feature works on my bike. If this feature is turned on, does the system then divide the watt output to four channels instead of the current stock two? i.e. 20 watt output getting divided by four instead of divided by two? I ask this because I am considering having the system flashed when the bike goes in for the factory recall, but it will be some time before I actually start running four speakers; I don’t want to lose any wattage to the fronts right now….
