I need a pair of Bluetooth earbuds for riding. I have a very nice pair of Bose BT buds, but they don't "lock in" to my ears well enough and I am sure that they would blow out. I know that there are many choices out there for BT earbuds so I figured I'd ask here for suggestions. I don't need the "best" just something to listen to music as I ride. Don't want to break the bank on a pair that would upset me if they blow out.
I did search before posting as I am sure that this has been discussed previously, but my search came up with dated threads.
MEE Audio M6 are great earbuds and inexpensive, buy the Bluetooth dongle separately. The earbuds are replaceable as they disconnect from the cord. I’ve used them for years and can only say good thinks about them
I used a set of Jabra Elite 65T buds for a couple of years. They sounded OK, but I could only get about 3 - 4 hours out of them before the batteries gave out.. Not good for longer trips.
It clips on the side of my helmet and feeds two JBL speakers that fit inside the helmet. It has a boom microphone and you can use it to make phone calls and even communicate with other riders using similar units.. But I only use it to listen to music and GPS voice directions. I don't need the mic so I never took it out of the box.
The fixed speakers are nice. No worries about losing a bud. Plus I can get over 10 hours continuous listening on the battery.
Do you use a helmet? That means different choices. Some people can't hold buds in there ears, just doesn't work. But there are some that hook around the ear and some that are on a lanyard. If the bike is loud, noise canceling is a big plus also.

Sorry I should have mentioned that. Yes I wear a half shell.
My previous wired ear buds wrapped around my ear. Never worried about loosing them. New phone doesn't have a jack, bluetooth only.
I have two pairs of these and have gifted one as well. I have used mine for about 8 months and no issues. These fit well enough into the ear canal, but still have a soft and comfortable ear hook and they`re not expensive. They have some nice features, but a couple of them would require you to reach inside your helmet to press a button. They pair perfectly with your phone and your smartwatch...
The wife and have been using LG Tones for years. They will last like 10 hours per charge. Come with different sized buds for your earhole. Reads out text messages in your ear while riding, if you want. Of course phone calls as well, but I don't answer while riding. Come in different price ranges according to quality. Some, if not all, have a basic equalizer setting for how you want it to sound. Never lost one caused they're recoil wired to the horseshoe collar setup. The Bose that 6113 was talking about earlier might be worth a look if these ever fail, but I'm real used to being able to get text messages read out to me while riding and don't know if they do that.
You can find them cheaper than their website, but these are the ones we use.....
