I installed a 2 speaker 1 amp system with a Bluetooth receiver/controller in a friends 21' Road King. I tuned the amp with the chart in the "sticky" and a 1kh-5db test tone and it sounds great running off my phone which is a galaxy S10 but when playing the music off her phone which is a Galaxy Z-fold 3 it doesn't even come close? Streaming music from the same app and settings the same on both phones, hers is much more quieter than mine being played at the same volume? What could be the problem? Do I have to re-tune the amp with her phone or could there be other settings in the Z-fold 3 that I'm not aware of?
Once you've connected with her phone via Bluetooth - do you bump up the volume on the phone to max or maybe max minus one?
Both phones have 15 notches to full volume so when I tuned the amp I set the volume on my phone to 12 notches which would be 3/4 volume and trust me at 3/4 volume it's plenty loud! But to answer your ? when I connect her phone via Bluetooth I can go to 3/4 volume or full and it doesn't even come close to the loudness in volume as it does on mine?

T.I.A.
I have a 2019 cvo limited with a biketronics 4 ch amp , Biketronics pro speakers front and Hertz in rear. Loud as hell with my samsung fold 3. I just have to make sure i have my phones blue tooth volume up all the way and the bike volume does the rest.
I did set the max volume on the headunit just below the distortion level.
Still at 85 mph it's loud as hell and your able to actually hear the words of the song along with clear strong music and instruments.
I mainly blue tooth my spotify play list and in the settings of Spotify I set it to LOUD WITH ROCK equalization in my phone settings. No issues with volume.
I have issues with the rear hertz speakers hitting so hard they loosen up the rubber speaker inserts that hold the speaker to the pod. Lol.....otherwise all good bluetoothing from the fold 3.
Thanks for the input guys!!
Sounds to me like I may just have to re-tune the amp again to her phone??
I just assumed being both galaxy model phones and tuning it to mine originally that the volume should work the same no matter who's galaxy is paired to her audio?..............."(apparently not)"
I have had this issue with other bluetooth devices with my Z-Fold 3. The output is lackluster on some devices. What I found was not so much the phone but the music player. Some players have hidden EQs, some have a amp setting (on/off), and some have reduced outputs as compared to others. Try another player, preferably one with good ratings.

I assume you're referring to the source of music or app being used correct? In this case it is just the free Pandora app and again using it on my phone with her system it is great! but when using it with her phone on her system the volume level is terrible!!
