I have the Rockford Fostgate amp and Bluetooth set up in my saddlebags (no fairing). I did some work on the lighting up front and out in new led glow lights. Now my system is blowing the online fuse at first chirp (how I hate that chirp) when it comes on.

any advice for troubleshooting?
Which fuse? Are you within the budget for that fuse (make sure you have a fuse large enough to support the required load)? Find out what device(s) is/are getting power from that fuse and disconnect it/them. Now reconnect 1 at a time until you start blowing fuses. That will be your culprit. If it's not too large a load for the fuse then likely the issue is either a faulty device, fuse position, or a short to ground.
Its the inline fuse (see photo) connecting the positive terminal of the battery with the audio amp via . Nothing else. I removed everything from the positive terminal expect the bike itself then added the amp lead and it blew immediately upon turning the switch.
I checked the connectors to and from the wiring harness that goes to the saddlebag and all looks ok.
I have the Rockford fosgate stage two install kit. I can dont the harness alone available anywhere to use for troubleshooting (in case its bad) uh but this is what it looks like.
10amp fuse? Is that what it calls for? I would think a 30 minimum. Most amps are 60. I dont think thats the fuse that belongs in there, thats why its blowing. If your using the RFK-HD14 kit, it should be a 60 amp fuse

The connector in the 2nd picture. Is that to or from your amp? If it's not connected do you still blow the fuse? Also with the amp disconnected and the power lead disconnected from the battery have you checked for a short to ground from the power lead when you turn the switch? Further to my 1st post and kloccwork419 above, is a 10A fuse the correct rating?
