Hi,
. So I bought a Sony DSX-M55BT, based on a lot of information on this forum, Saddle Tramp radio cover and Biketronics controller. All is fine, except the screws for mounting the radio in the single DIN are a bit too short. Picked up some M5 screws, based on the Sony instructions, they are to large in diameter, will not start in the radio mounting holes. Anyone know a size that will work in the Sony or other radio chassis? I expect they are pretty standard at this point, but any real world experience is much appreciated!
That is what I tried, but the thread on the supplied screws is a much coarser pitch than anything I found at the hardware store and the diameter on the ones I found that were supposed to work, per Sony's manual, were not the right size.
