Seems aa if my issue are the damn pods. I already have 2 sets of spacers i need to return lol
Pretty sure the pods aren't the problem. I tried a few different spacers on my pods that didn't fit. You have the wrong grills for your lowers.
Your grills should fit into your lowers, so that the grill is pushing against your speaker, not just pushing on the surface of the pod
The chrome rings came with it. Ill look at something different
For now im just gonna mount the speaker without the trim ring so i can get the lowers fit on the bike and wires ran

I literally just noticed all my show the Hertz and not the Mmats. I guess I putthe Mmats in the fairing and totally forgot lol. The plan was to have them in the lowers. I need to stop drinking lol

The fairing is a better place for the Mmats. Love mine in the fairing.
Was there a grill similar to what I posted in my pictures that came with that chrome ring, and the lowers?
I went with the Metra pods. Not cheap. But I didnt need to use a Lego set to make them work. Ive tried the cheap ones you have. And then Hogworks. And finally someone suggested these. Worth every penny. And yes. They improved the sound. Speaker has the room to work. Was able to side by side the cheap pods versus these as a friend had the identical amp speaker combo.
