Is this gap normal

These worked perfectly. I just installed one and then i realized i need to be turn fully side to side so i hope i ran enough wire. The fairing is on since i left it for 2 days i spent most of my free time during nfl halftime tryin to figure out a way to get the damn amp to fit. I turned it backwards with the power/ground towards the exhaust side.
I still have to find a way to secure it. I read through all the old threads about this amp so i have to decide the best way for my situation.
After that its wire it up, fire it up like an LS. Bonus points if you know that show lol
