Am I even in the right spot?
Im trying something new next season, as upstate NYs riding time has come to a close. Ear buds for music. Anyone ride with them? Anyone have personal experiences with specific brands, good or bad? Quality, volume, fit with helmets. All the deets. No opinion is a bad one! Thanks in advance.

Don't know if your in the right spot, but aren't you worried that noise canceling ear buds will cancel unimportant things like horns or the screech of locked up tires? Pretty sure I would terrified of that.

I guess its something I will have to test out? I dont know. From what Ive read, some noise cancelling headphones actually reduce loud noises and improve quieter ambient sounds. If that even makes sense. Im no wiz, so dont ask me lol.
I have a 2021 Electra glide standard, so I've used JLAB EPIC ANC noise canceling ear buds, purchased on Amazon, paired to my phone. Rated for +25hr charge life, they're typically good one of my "all day rides". I like the neck collar as I don't "loose" a tethered bud, sound is decent, price point is great.
There are "better" buds out there, but the cost is significantly higher. I'm on year 4, still going strong. They use the typical USB mini cord, not the newer usb-c for my phone. But I use spare USB phone charger for power, or 12V USB adapter with 2.0 for powering up "underway".

I'm confused, aren't those things considered important when riding?
passive noise-reduction, small, and comfortable. S-Plugs are really very good. They also make custom fit plugs but honestly the S-Plug is all you really need (I have both and don't use the custom fit ear monitors anymore)
