Default Tweeter size

Anyone know of a good tweeter that has the same cutout and thread size of a hertz st35? Looking for something else before I just buy another set of hertz. I have custom billet grills that screw on the st35 but one of the tweeters broke. The design of the screw on connector is terrible inside the speaker. Tighten them too much they rip the foil thin connections inside. The new neo ones use a plug probably because of this if I had to guess

Re solder the lead back on to the terminal.

I have rebuilt/repaired many of those horns.
There is a rebuild kit you can get thru your local hertz dealer for about $40 each.

Talking about the voice coil replacement? I have repaired it once. Maybe Ill try it again. Just pisses me off. The problem is the plastic spacer that wants to turn when you tighten it, then it just pulls the connection apart. Wonder If i could beefin it up some. I want the neo but theres no way I would drop that much money for a tweeter

if you’re going to buy a new set check out the diamond audio m075t. I really like mine. Not sure if they’ll fit ik the same size hole in the grill as the st35s. But I’m sure diamond has one that’ll fit the hole you have. I love the sound quality of the diamond. I love the hertz as much or more tho tbh. I bought the diamond bc they’re shallow mount
