Default 6.5" mid-range for lowers?

I've been running the DB Moto G2's in the lowers of both my bikes for awhile now, but I'm getting ready to swap out the GZ coax in the fairing for the Faital Pro 6HX150.

Any suggestions on a 6.5" mid-range for the lowers?

I can get the Hertz SPL SV 165.1 or the Hertz SV 165 Neo for a decent price locally. Either worth running?
Or are their better options?

Keep those gz that you are taking out. Those faitals are 8 ohm and you will need more power to get them as loud as the GZ's. Not sure you will gain that much SQ at speed with the faitals over the gz's. Also the gz's would sound good in the lowers. BTW what dps are you running?

Just my opinion.

I just removed my GZ from lowers and installed a set of PRV 6MR500CF. I put the GZ in the fairing @ 150w crossed @ 60hz and the PRV @ 300w crossed @ 70hz. Loud and LOTS of mid-bass. I don't have a DSP but I'm sure it would only benefit the set up.

Man I would love to get a set of 8" speaker boxes for the lowers on my 2010 Ultra. I know folks have made sets themselves before but I'm just not good at fabricating stuff.

That's next winters project. After I finish up the Ultra, I still have to do audio on the Roadglide before spring

I'm thinking I should have enough power available for the Faitals. I'll probably be bridging them off the front channels of a SD 2400.4.
Not sure which DSP I'll end up running. It's going to come down to space availability. I have a DD DSI 2 sitting here, but may end up trying to tuck a Dayton DSP under the SD 2400.4, on top of the HU. That's where I have the Dayton on my other bike.
Also have a SD 1600.1, and a SD 400.4 going in the fairing as well.
