A HD flash will not get rid of the horrible DSP curve. HD flashes assuming you have one of their OEM options. 2/4 speakers. Amp (boom) RF etc... The curve remains.
No, yes you can get a RF flash or TechnoResearch etc... that will get very close to a flat curve. Base don't he OPs question I assume they will not go this deep. Now, will they be using a DSP (best option by far) so the line leveler is an alternative. If you flash unit as if have amp then you get about a 2v output etc... again, the OP prob will not go this deep. Ons are high they over old the inout of the mapped the audio will sound bad, clip, protect, etc...
I honestly have no idea what these statements mean but I do know that a HD 8/2 flash is the flattest flash you can get. You will lose fade control with that flash but can compensate with wiring. That flash with the LOC i mentioned above will provide what you need to send the signal to an amp. Not rocket science just the easiest way to get a clean signal to an amp.
To be clear... the 8/2 is the flattest HARLEY flash... but NOT "FLAT". You will need to resolve the rest with a DSP. Now, keep in mind that when you flash 8/2 your line level is now just under 2v. Not great. But.. will work. Also, most HD dealers will not do the 8/2 unless you have boom audio and (2) amps. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fu...-ZPCFuN_NFGIOm

Me- "I do know that a HD 8/2 flash is the flattest flash you can get"
You- " Respectfully, you are wrong."
You - "To be clear... the 8/2 is the flattest HARLEY flash.."
I still want to know what an ATA is? I might learn something new today.
Thanks in advance for letting me know. BTW thanks for Andy's pfd on the different flashes I need to save it for future references.

Like I said... the flatest HARLEY flash.... NOT the flattest flash you can get like you said... READ THAT AGAIN
As for ATA. I was also chatting with someone ion a Bowtech room and it auto corrected. You clearly knew what I was saying... sorry keyboard warrior.
With that said... for OP... it all depends on what you want to do here... the line leveler and a HD flash will be "ok" with a simple setup. If you are going big/er audio and want a plug and play, get ahold of NVS or Volunteer. They will point you in the right direction. MANY start "simple" and then regret it and end up spending more to do it the way they should have the first time.

I talk to Jay and Carlos on occasion as they both know me. Mostly on LR and BW filters and bandpass octaves. Thank you for the heads up on the flashes and if you ever want some insight on line leveler tuning or dsp bandpass tuning, just ask.
