Found a local Indy that has the centurion tool, but has never flashed a radio before. From what I have seen online it looks like a fairly easy process, however he may not have the red 2022 plug-in that I require.
is there any sort of adapter I can purchase to connect my bike to what he has? Or is this a techno specific cord that needs to purchase. Id like to go in knowing what is required as opposed to multiple trips and expenses.

The dongle you need is for the 21 and up HDs.
There are no adapters and are specific to the TR4 and newer modules. They are also currently out of stock.
If I may offer a bit of advice, not sure what he will be charging you for the flash, but if YOU have to pay for the dongle, at that point I'd just buy their Alaris tool. It's $269 on their site, includes ONE license for your bike, but can be used as many times as you choose on your bike. Meaning you can change your flash any time you want as many times as you want without additional cost. Might be worth it if you plan on changing your audio at all. I had an issue and researched this before I discovered my problem was FOE.
