Helping a buddy out with his system and never saw an amp like this. Mine has 4 separate channels. This one shares 2 channels. Someone explain this? Hes running 4 DB 6MOTO-G2. Wouldnt that put the speakers in series and make the load 8ohm?

As 4 channel with the 2 connected in the center. I just never saw an evox like this. The back says its 4ohm bridged and 2 ohm when x4. Its odd. Like its backwards. Maybe refurbished. All mine have 4 separate channels, none together in the center

SD has them shared like you have it. Probably just stated 2ohm x4 channel because that's max output. 4ohm speakers will still work, just lower rms watts
Just never seen them like this. The only 4ohm setting is bridged and only says 4ohm bridged and doesnt show watts. Shows 200x4 at 2ohm. Just weird. I hooked it up how its showed and set the gains at 2ohm volt setting. Got it around 23v. Was set around 27 and kept cutting out for him. I know one thing, these speakers arent the greatest. 😂. Thanks guys
That is the older EVO amp that used the shared + - channels. That amp is at least 3 years old if not older..
The newer EVOX models have the seperate positive and negative connections.
Those older EVO amps are work horses but tend to run warmer than normal.
