Default Ottocast A2Air Android Auto Wireless Bluetooth Adapter

Has anyone tried this gadget out as an option to use Android Auto via wireless?
My bike (‘23 Ultra Limited) supports the Android Auto if it’s plugged into USB, but its a PITA having to use a cord.
I’ve not seen the A2Air before today so curious if anyone is using it and if it’s worth buying.
I came across a video on the tube and you can enter HDVIBE for 30% discount & free shipping.

I have the Ottocast A2Air wireless adapter on my '23 Limited and it works flawlessly. Like you, I was tired of the cord and having to deal with the phone in the cockpit. Now, I simply put the phone on the charger in the tour-pak and roll on.

All of these adapters seem to work well. You may find one that is a bit less expensive than the $129 for this unit.

They do have a $30 discount now with a code.
However after reading through their website filled with spelling & sentence fragment errors, written with a Chinee accent I’m a tad leery of that one. Not that my typing skills are any better, and all the others are probably made in the far East as well.
The Motorola MA1 seems to have fairly good reviews.

I didn't buy the Otocast, but I just saw it on Amazon for $129 plus a $40 off coupon with prime shipping.

I purchased this one. Mainly because it's cheap and I'm not sure if I want to give up the USB keeping my phone charged. Problem is the Pixel 7 pro won't fit in my glovebox on my 12 RG with a cable plugged in. So I also bought a cable with a 90 degree end.

Same issue here. I’d rather keep the phone plugged in for charging, but it doesn't fit in the fairing USB box unless the cover stays open.
Damn these problems of the real world.

I have the Motorola MA1 - works well for me.

Had it for about 4 months.

I received my cheap AA wireless adapter. It works. It's connected to my Soundstream HDHU.9813RG. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Connects and starts playing music in under 40 seconds of turning the radio on. On long rides I'll use USB, but for just jumping on and going for a quick jaunt, should work nicely. I didn't read the instructions from start to finish, mainly because I left my readers in the house. The main thing is, go to Android Auto settings and add a vehicle. Don't pair the device with Bluetooth, don't mess with Wi-Fi settings. Just go to AA settings and add a vehicle. Then it will take you to Bluetooth settings. Then search for the device, pair it, then it will send all the Wi-Fi credentials to your phone and connect right up. I fiddled with too much stuff before doing that. I just verified it works. It's raining, so I'll report back after I use it some.

ETA
It's very compact, it takes up very little space in my glovebox. 2012RG.
