I know this particular forum doen't really pertain to basic audio needs but...... My speaker blew on left side of my 10 EG Classic. I just want to replace speakers. I thought Id ask you guys before the dealer, what I should replace them with. Just want speakers replaced, should i go with new oem's or something else. Thanks
HD speakers are 2 Ohm impedance.
You'll be hard pressed to find aftermarket replacements that are also only 2 Ohm (most are either 4 or 8 Ohm) that are reasonably priced.
If you only want to make what you have work again, consider finding factory take offs from someone that has upgraded their audio system.
I have a pair of factory fairing speakers just sitting on a shelf in my garage; I cant imagine that Im alone.
I have a set of Hog tunes 902.2-AA I just took out of my 07 Electra Glide. Im selling the bike and parting out stuff off of it. Id love to get $100 shipped for the set.
