Issue with updating Head unit and adding amplifier
I have just upgraded to the SoundStream HDHU.14si and I also added Boss Audio speakers and amplifier. The installation was very easy, but I have an issue when streaming music from my phone using bluethooth it suddenly stop playing. The head unit is still working, I can change to any other app on in, but there are no sound.
Anyone have any idea about what I need to do to be able to use the the sound system. I have not been to a dealer to flash the system.
where are you keeping your phone when playing music? If it's in your saddlebag it's too far away, it needs to be close to the radio. Plus you don't need to "flash the system" when you have an aftermarket head unit.

I'm keeping the phone in my breast pocket, and sometimes it's working fine when I start riding then suddenly the sound dissapears.
That is odd. Is there a reason you're not using apple car play or android auto?
I have ordered the Ottocast U2 Air Pro and when I get that plugged in I will start using Apple Car Play. But I guess that will not solve my sound issue.

I guess what I'm referring to is the hard wired USB connection to your SoundStream.
