Hello all, curious if anyone has an answer for me. My 2019 and now my 2021 Street Glide are like this...stock head unit. I have a USB plugged in with maybe 300 albums on it. Nothing plays in order, its like the system scrambles the songs. I know there's a box you can tick to shuffle but even when I untick this, the songs are still shuffled! I guess I get irritated when something comes up and I want to keep listening to that artist...untick the shuffle and it STILL goes to something totally different.
Wondered if anyone has the same scenario?
Chris

You should be able to sort by artist, album, song etc with a thumb drive. And FWIW the shuffle setting works for me as its supposed when I use a stick. Does it work for you with other sources like your phone?
JAglide thanks for the response...I will look into that method and experiment with an extra drive I have here.
Erilflynn, sounds like mine operates the same as yours. I am familiar with screwing around to play an album, or artist however, I usually play everything and that's where things get screwed up. Instead of a transition from one song to the next (same artist) and playing the entire USB drive in order...the system shuffles the songs whether I have that box ticked or not. And that's what drives me nuts, if I want to stop the shuffle while I am listening to a particular artist and want to hear the next song by them, I will untick the shuffle box but the system still plays some other random song that comes up next.
My truck used to operate the way I wanted and I just sort of thought the bike would but there's some sort of limitation of the way it reads the USB I guess...
Chris
What do you have to do to get the stock radio to read a thumb drive? I plug my phone in and it works fine but tried a usb stick with music on it and it didn't even show I had anything plugged in.
That's pretty strange...I really am not to sure how to respond to your issue. Maybe someone else can chime in with ore experience; both my bikes had the option come up to select once the USB was plugged in.
