For the OP, I see a "shuffle" feature on the screen but I forget what year the Boom switched over to the current version

For Todd,

If I don't screw this up...

This screen has the menu items which you seek. I'll caveat this and say that I don't have any music on my USB in any kind of folder, category, etc., just all the MP3's on a thumb drive.

The arrow on the left points to the input source which leads to pic #3, the arrow at the top points to the directory for the USB. Mine is set to songs.

You may be right, if you're seeing anything like this, try a different thumb drive or take them all out of the groups/folders, I don't know, see if that helps.

FWIW, no. I have been using a usb with over 4k songs, usually after a service where I am presuming the bike was flashed for whatever reason, the shuffle is off. I just “check” the box and back to never hearing same song again.

Lately I have been plugging in my phone, a chick phone, not a droid, and I play the Spotify app and it comes in great along with bike navigation I am good.

Good Luck!

Make sure your USB drive is formatted to what the radio requires. I don't have the Harley radio, you may need to reference the manual.

IIRC the Boom radio likes songs on the usb stick not in folders. I don't think it will read folders.

You shouldn’t have to “enable” anything for the USB to play a music file. Try a stick with a song (not folder) downloaded from your PC and see what happens. I’ve had both the 6.5Boom and now the Boom GTS and both were just plug the stick in and go.
