I'm trying to relocate antenna on my FLTRX from the fender to a tour pack that I've added. I did add HD harness to tourpack and now trying to find an extension cable from underseat antenna connector to tourpack.
My google-fu failed me. Harley's extension cable I could find is "mystery" connector to mast.
The connector in question looks like FAKRA, I've bought FAKRA extension cable on ebay and it looks close but Harley's is "fatter" and I couldn't find that FAKRA connectors differ in size.
What would be a proper name for that connector; it looks similar to the picture.
Appreciate any info.
That's where I've got my picture from I couldn't find any info on how they differentiate by size that's why I've started to doubt that I'm looking for the right connector type.
Kind of but instead of the mast connector I'd need the one that will mate with the white connector on the other end.
If you just need the cable to be longer, why would it matter which extension connector you get? I see cable extensions that will fit the silver threaded end.
Well, because I can just disconnect cable that running from under the seat connection to rear fender (and just leave it in place) and instead run a cable from under seat (which is plug coming to the radio) to the jack coming out of tour pack. I have "male" part (in my picture above) under seat coming to the radio and "female" part coming out of the tour pack.
It appears to be an Amphenol FAKRA series connector. I don't know specifically which one in the series but if you go to Mouser Electronics website you can research it to drill down further. If Mouser doesn't have it then it's likely unobtainable but I doubt that will be the case because Mouser carries practically every single electronic component known to man, it is the place to go for oddball connectors.

Go back to that site.
Click FARKA to Farka Assemblies
Then click FARKA Jack to Plug.
Several will come up. I checked white and they are discontinued. Click black or some other color. Once there, select your size.
