Got the EX4 tonight...4g power & ground wire...bike running, the most I could get just before clip was 25.12V - definitely a far cry from the rated power, and Carlos (NVS Audio) video of hitting 28v.
I will absolutely say, the sound is "cleaner" than with my Soundigital amp...I've heard many times on this forum that SD amps make "dirty" sound...I can now say without a doubt I know what that means.
I wish I went with the Mmats amp but I really didn't want to spend that kind of money...I got a great deal on this EX4...now I just have to get it to fit...it's pretty big and I have an aftermarket HU - sits right on top flush with the gauges...but the right side bumps into the fairing...

Ya I had grind down the corners for it to fit on my bike

Yeah the thing that doesn't make sense to me is I fit a Soundstream PN4 under the hood with the stock radio. Now with a smaller Kenwood, I can't believe this amp won't fit.
What tool did you use to grind down and where abouts on the amp?

Angle grinder with like 36 grit I think.i taped up the amp so no crap got in it.i just rthe corners some like 1.5 inches back I think
So I've had the bike out a few times now with the EX4 amp, and I have to say, without a shadow of a doubt, with far less power than the 1200.4, the EX4 makes my stereo sound cleaner and louder. I don't even go past 60% of the volume capability, and I can hear it at 120kph.
