From Volunteer Audio. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Have watched a ton of YouTube videos and such reviewing this unit. Was wondering if any forum members were running one and had a couple questions. Thanx in advance.
Cool. A couple questions if you will; Did you have to replace fairing speakers? What are you using for headset (if any)? Can you run carplay music while using the NAV? And things about it that really **** you off or really like? Thanx, Iam considering buying one, but its a good chunk of change.

-I had GZ coax in the fairing and an SD 800.4 amp prior to the V2
-I don't use a headest
-I only use google maps through carplay for navigation, but I tested the onboard nav early on while playing music through carplay
I don't know if you are on facebook, but there is a great group dedicated to just the V2
Well, too pricey for the item for now, still some bugs I read about. I thought about dropping down to the HDHU.14SI, but with no headphone via wired or bluetooth, that's a deal killer for me. Oh well...
You can stream your audio from your phone while using CarPlay. Once you are connected to the head unit and the Sena or Cardo is connected via Bluetooth to the phone, you can hit the AirPlay button at the bottom of the screen and select between CarPlay or the headset.
this has worked for me using either a Soundstream HDHU14+ or a GTS radio.

Is your volume/ track changing still controlled by the bike?

In my experience, volume is no, but track yes. When I was using a Sena 20S I had to make sure the audio volume was all the way up on my phone, and with my newer 50 the headset controls the volume.
