Looking for a 2 speaker setup for 18 RGS. Factory head, want to keep FM and ride wet at times. Budget less than $1k-ish. Did 12V audio installs back in the day so I'll DIY the install.
Gonna be hard to keep FM signal with most amps nowadays. Class D amps are notorious for killing reception. There are a few that are better than others. I had a stinger amp that didnt kill FM completely, but I'm sure the more rural you get, the less that is true. Maybe some of the other newer amps are better. I just only know about the stinger amp. The SD amp I have now, my FM is gone.
Whats wrong with streaming services like pandora or iHeart radio? Or even better, playing your own music from your phone or SD card?
