OK so I am wondering, do you connect your phone's bluetooth to the GTS head unit, the J&M dongle, and the Cardo? It seems you would have to in order to get all the functionality you listed. Didn't know I could connect three things at one time to my phone.
This dongle is really exciting.
The Cardo is connected to my phone - as phone 1. My phone is bluetoothed to my GTS. Plus, the dongle is connected as Phone 2 to my Cardo.
Do you have a Cardo unit or other wireless headset? If so, try this. You probably already have your phone connected to you bike and also to your phone. Now go to your headset and connect a second phone.
I am so pleased with this thing - and the sound is awesome.

OK I THINK I see what you are doing. I don't have a fancy headset yet, just a cheap bluetooth one I got to play with in the winter on those rare occasions where I wear a full face helmet. I don't think it will allow two devices to connect to it. I do have a Bell Mag 9 helmet that has a built in slot to accept a Sena 10S headset. I was thinking of getting one of those since it will fit the helmet securely but don't know if it will accept two devices connected at the same time or not.
One other question did come to mind though. If someone calls you on your phone, how do you answer it? I have only done this with the wired headset and tap the answer button on the screen of the GTS.

Get the headset - you will love it. I think the sena 10 will work-but might suggest you look at a headset that is more up to date,. Fir example, my Cardo has such great speakers. You may be able to find some discounted ones.
To answer the phone, you just touch the front button on my headset. That is also as clear as a bell.
Cardo "Pack Talk Slim". Works good. I think I would choose a different unit now though because the piece that goes on the lower back of the helmet snags up a little on my collar. Kind of annoying at times but I get used to it.
Cardo has App on phone, launch App, then turn on by holding two buttons down, connected. In App look for "Intercom" then you can connect to others you have already connected to in past. I suggest changing the names from Rider 1, Rider 2, ect. because if Rider 1 (Wife) doesn't have unit on it won't connect, dough. Point being I don't remember who is who with just numbers, it just says "Unavailable" but I don't know why. Oh, because I wanted to connect to Rider 2, Colton. You can link to many Bluetooth users in daisy chain but is limited to number of connections and distance about 1/4 mile. It also uses DMC for a Group. There is voice commands and FM Radio too. My trouble is there are a lot of functions, I don't use it very often so I forget how to use them. They include a Quick Start Guide that comes in handy to help get familiar. I suggest going to their website, Cardosystems.com, to learn and decide which unit is better for your needs. Also, go to support page and read User Manual. Usually all I do is turn on Headset, she says, "Bluetooth Connected" then I launch a music App and it plays in headset. I get into trouble connecting to others but I am finding it is easy through the App as stated above. When I bought ours it came in a two pack, me and wife. Son already had his.

I really like the phone app.
For my pairing - it just said Group 1. So. I changed to let that show me and wife. If i make a group with others, I put their names there so I know who is in that group
Holy cow that Paktalk Edge is expensive. I guess if they know they are the best they can charge for it. I would probably mostly use it during the winter when wearing gloves, and reviewers say it is hard to work with gloves on. If it is connected to the J&M dongle, is there some amount of volume adjustment using the thumb controls on the headset?
Voice commands if buttons are hard to work with gloves, however you have to remember the exact words. I ordered the J&M unit. I am hoping the bike controls will also work volume ect. I think the buttons will because as Cycle7474 connects to GTS. I will let you know once I get it installed and figured out. Watch for sales, I think I got ours through Amazon. Ours are older versions. Three buttons along face two under on edge. I always wear gloves and have never had issues. Big thick gauntlets might cause problems. Not sure about the new button configuration.
