Default Speaker Pods

Hello,
I have a 2014 Street Glide Special. I picked up a slightly used tour pack with speaker pods and a few other miscellaneous items. I took everything off and had the tour pack painted. Now I am putting it back together.

1. I want to replace the weather proof gasket material that goes between the tour pack and the actual speaker pods. Any suggestions? Could I get something from the hardware store that would work just as well?

2. My bike has never had the rear speakers or tour pack. Do I need to go to HD and have them update anything so the rear speakers will work as they should?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Being you have a SG. you will need to have the headunit flashed unless you are installing an aftermarket HU.

Are you installing an amp and aftermarket equipment for the audio ?

TP PODS gaskets you may find neoprene material at the local hardware store and cut to fit or use silicone in between.

BTW what part of Illinois are you in? There may be a memebers in your area to help you if needed and possibly flash your stock headunit.

You don't have very far to go to a fellow forum member if you are in Joliet. I am just north of you in Lockport.
Sent me a text at 815-905-1524 when you get this and let me know who you are. I will respond
