As much as it pains me I've ordered an Advanblack king tour pack for my FLHTP. I'm not a fan of tour packs, but I am a fan of the Ol' Lady. She's been wanting one ever since several of her friends who ride with us are always telling her how great they are.
Also, she didn't give me any grief about the new Sony 7000 w/ Rockford speakers bundle I just installed... However, when I brought her out to the garage to check out the stereo install her first comment was that she was going to need some rear speakers...
So here's my question. Does anyone have any other suggestions beyond eGlideGoodies for tour pack speaker pods (w/o speakers)? eGlideGoodies seemed to be the most common suggestion over in the Audio forum.
This is what I am up against. I've had the new bike since Saturday and already she's asking why I didn't get the tour pack "queen seat" monstrosity...lol.

My wife must be the only woman who wasn’t thrilled with her queen seat when I got a full dresser about 5 years. I’ve since “downsized” a bit to a RG and she rarely rides with me anymore. Hence when I recently bought a detachable TP I went with the Chopped even though it’s passenger pad is a bit smaller and no rear speaker capabilities. Should be here in a few days.
When the wife and I started talking about her hopping on the back of the bike, I took myself down to the dealership and sat on the back of bikes with tour packs and every other backrest imaginable. If you were the one sitting on the back of the bike for hours on end while she was gleefully twisting the throttle like a teenager, you know you'd prefer the full-size tour pack for general passenger comfort. No, the sissy bars aren't just as comfortable. You also wouldn't want to sit on a thin, no-usable-padding pillion that looks cool.
Mount it on a detachable rack if you want to be able to pull it for that sleek look when she's not on.
