Another FLHTP owner here, much like the original poster (sorry do not mean to highjack the tread) I have thought about adding a sound system to my Cop bike. however, its between 2250 to over 3k for decent setup from Volunteer audio! I'm interested in that Cicadia set you posted. what else is needed to install, harness etc.? What's the difference between the two speakers in the links?
A buddy of mine just got a used GT head unit dirt cheap and plugged it up with a set of speakers to get by. I think you may have to swap out the left controls though to get volume to work. Hopefully someone that has gone the used Harley head unit route can confirm.
If you want to use headsets though the other guys have some good tips.
