Default "Static" noise coming from speakers

I've had a Stinger SPX700X4 amp and MMats speakers installed in my Street Glide for about five years (PA601cx's in front, PA690.4cx in bags w/Kenwood KDC-X303 HU) and they have performed flawlessly. I installed and tuned the system myself with the help of posters on this forum. Recently I noticed static coming from the rears when I start the bike even with the volume turned all the way down. I've checked all of the speaker connections on the rears and everything appears intact so I'm assuming it's an amp issue but I could be off. I have yet to remove the fairing to check the amp connections but wanted to post here to get any feedback before doing so. Any thoughts/suggestions on what could be causing this issue? If it's an amp issue now could be the time for me to upgrade the amp if needed. Thanks in advance!

It's funny I was just talking to a guy last week about static he said he can hear static from front speakers i believe he is running a db drive 800x4 which I'm not exactly sure if its the same model as mine and he asked me to check mine to see if I could hear anything as I never noticed because I always have something on i tried mine with volume off and I can just barely make a static noise too. I was wondering if it has to do with high level used with the uni 35 adapter thing on ours or possibly coming from deck

AZ given your description I would be tempted to take off the fairing cap and unplug the RCA cables going into your amp. This might give you an idea if the static is coming from the head unit or the amp. This would also give you a chance to wiggle the wires around to see if the problem is in the wiring somewhere.
