Can you guys help me out? I have an 07 ultra and in the past week the sound from the speakers just stops. If i flick the switch to change from front to rear speakers the sound comes back on. but it will only stay on for a little while and I have to do the same thing all over again. any idea's. Thanks, Paul D.
Check to make sure your CB isn't turned on, or if it is and you want it on, that the squelch is sufficiently turned up. The radio or CD audio will cut out when the CB overrides it.

its a common problem.
if you have the extended warranty, its covered, i just picked up mine today,
(my dealer let me take it out, drop it off and they swapped it) my scoot is my main transportation and i couldnt lay it up, so i took it out, they sent it out, and now i have to put it back in tommorow.
but the problem is not going away, its an internal problem and hd is well aware of it
The problem is sometimes caused by excessive vibration caused by one or more broken vertical fairing brackets and/or the riser bolts hitting the bottom of the radio's chassis. In addition to having the radio fixed, check those brackets and see if there is evidence on the bottom of the radio that it's hitting the riser bolts.
