Default Bluetooth Question

I did a search and didn't really find an answer to my problem. I have a Zumo 550 and a J&M CB on an Electra Glide Standard. I can see when a phone call comes in on the Zumo, I can hear them through the helmet headsets on the aux on the J&M but there is no connection to the gps mic.

I tried to find out about the "Buddy Rich Cable" but I haven't gotten any response from him. It would be great if I could find a "plug and play" option to connect the mic in the headset to the Zumo but so far I haven't had any luck.

My question is.....Can I just splice a mic cable for the Zumo into the audio system of the J&M radio and it work with the helmet headset?

TIA, Mike

Hi, Surprised nobody has chimed in on this. This is a common issue that few people know how to solve correctly. The problem with just running a cable to connect the mic is that it won't mute so you may have two audio sources coming in at once. The best solution is the BOM. It will make your system work properly if I understand your problem correctly. We don't sell it but you can find it here. http://www.hdbomm.com/
You could probably spend a few minutes understanding what it is and recreate it if you are technical.
