cd starts over every startup

Default cd starts over every startup
The CD player picked up where it left off in the past but now it wants to start at the beginning each time the bike is started. The startup screen comes on and then it plays. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this?

I am using mp3 disc. It seems like there's a power problem, weak battery or bad connection. The stock HC player reboots each time the bike is started displaying the welcome screen. This starts the cd over at song 1 each time.

Could be a voltage drop at startup. Below 8.5 volts, the radio will restart.
Try just turning on accessories without starting the bike and see what happens.

also, try it with a non MP3 disc
