Problem adding rear speakers to 1994 Ultra Classic
I have a 1994 Ultra classic Electra Glide. I removed the CB and the tour pak that had speakers in it. i want to add speakers into my saddlebags. I never cut any wires, just diconnected them at the plugs. I found the wires for the rear speakers and connected them to a speaker for a test. when i touched the wire to the speaker there was a loud "crackle' thru the speaker and the music went off in the front speakers, no music from the rear one. As soon as i pulled the wire off the rear speaker, the music started playing thru the front ones again. Is this something connected to the CB/intercom system doing this? any ideas? Grounding problems?

are you sure you have the speaker wires and not the passenger audio control wire?
on the 94 I'm not sure if the colors are different..
on my 09
right rear speaker is green/brown and green
left speaker is white/brown and white
