Help with audio install!!
HDForums Members I need your assistance.
Just bought a 2011 Ultra Limited, and installing a new head unit and amp, speakers kit.
Head Unit is a marine sony system.
Amp is tiny 4 channel Rockford Fosgate
Replacing front speakers with 6.5 RF and getting rid of rears with new 6x9 in rear lids.
Now heres where i need some help never done this before.
Now I have installed the head unit and amp, just hooking up amp to head unit Im having issue with.
1 Do I need to hook up the remote cable?
2 On the amp do I connect the RCA links from the head unit to the amp?
3 For the speakers do i tap into the Hd lines and just add them in.
4 For the rear speakers do i extend the wires from the head unit and link them into/from the amp then onto to the speakers.
Any help would be great

Yes it seems most aftermarket harnesses piggy back this onto the cigarette lighter wire.
2 On the amp do I connect the RCA links from the head unit to the amp?
Yes if you want sound

I guess you could do both
4 For the rear speakers do i extend the wires from the head unit and link them into/from the amp then onto to the speakers.
If using an Amp you only have a power, ground and rca wires that go into the amp. All speaker connections only go to the amp output terminals.
