does the pbr300x2 fit?
I am having a difficult time getting PBR300x2 amp far enough back
I made my own bracket
sits about 1/2 inch bove radio
outer fairing seems to hit
i dont want to sit it under wiring harness really
might melt it

I remounted it farther back
fits good
now the question is
with stock radio what have others set gain on amp too??
I tried 7
too much
I have it on 5 now
not bad
the amp is very powerful
and the Polk MM 651 s sound good

mine are set at 6 front, and 5 rear. (2 amps) perfect balance with fader being set in mid position. If you don't have a piece of foam behind the frt speakers and attached to the inside of the outer fairing, it's a good investment to make. Much cleaner bass response you'll discover.

Hey Ultra got a ? For you. I have the fosgate 300x4 amp with 4 fosgate p165 (6.5 speakers) w/ a Kenwood after market deck. My question is about the gain & amp settings. I'm getting so much power to the speakers that I'm not even allowed to turn it up past 20 on the stereo. Can you give me some advise on how to fix this prob? Thx
