With CB, XM, or iPod module you use this bracket to relocate.
Without any modules, you simply use the this top mount bracket to give you a solid mounting surface for your amp.
Other than that you'll need about 6 ft or so of 8ga power wire to run back to the battery and make sure you fuse it within a few inches of the battery, and a piece (just a few inches) of 8ga ground wire.

I'm interested in going a similar route as you have, with the SoundStream Amp and fairing/Tour Pak pods. Did you stick to the HK radio, or are did I see you're now running one of the Sony DSX decks? I have the DSX-S200X (with TuneTray) and like the deck tons more than the HK (except it's "sunlight readability- but that's minor!). How does Scott's bracket work with the Sony deck/SoundStream amp combo in the fairing? I know in your thread about the original amp questions (the Alpine KTP-445U thread), it was mentioned that the bracket was specifically drilled for the RF amps, and the last pics you posted regarding the SoundStream mounting, you hadn't FINALLY mounted the SoundStream (and still had the HK in there too). Is the SS amp that far off dimensionally or in the bracket pattern?
Second question; where did you ground the amp? In my travels into the inner fairing, I haven't seen much in the line of good spots to ground an 8ga lead.
Last question- if I am running the (read; ANY) amp in 4 channel mode, then disconnect the rear speakers (ie, remove the Tour Pak and it's speaker pods), will that A) hurt the amp with the missing load (the speakers will ideally be Polk MM651s in the pods as well as the fairing), or B) require fading to full front on the head unit? Not that I frequently pull the TP as it stands now, but I would like to ensure I'm not doing harm to the amp once I install it and get the rear pods set up for quick-disconnect functionality.
