Fairing factory also supplies their lowers with the upgraded CVO/screaming eagle hardware, not that cheap clamp HD does with the stock lowers
you mean HD sells an upgraded hardward kit for the lowers other than what comes stock? Go figure! :-) I think if these guys could figure out a way to make $ on exhaust fumes they would... they'll have an upgraded option that won't come stock that costs twice as much and includes 2 PPM of o2

Yup I bought the numbers above that Pioneer listed. The CVO pods are the way to go. Do yourself a favor and get them painted before you install them if you can. Like said before once you get them on you will not want to take them off................I think the CVO pods are great. Fit like a glove and work well with the boom audio instructions on how to install.
Of course you'll nee two grilles--they're the same for right and left-- and 8 screws for the grilles. You may also want to use some quick disconnects just outside the speaker boxes to make it easier to remove the lowers if, and when, necessary. I did a fairly lengthy post a couple of years ago supplying the p/n's for this mod.
Also, as said previously, by all means have the CVO boxes painted before you do the install. If not, you'll not only miss the benefit of them when out for paint, but you'll also be doing a second installation; i.e. the same job twice.

love the sarcasm, but if anyone wants them the part number is 58146-07
Does anybody know if HD makes a chrome version of the screws that we use for the CVO lowers? The screws used with the Boom audio chrome rings perhaps? Part number?
EDIT: The part number for the rear Boom! chrome speaker trim is 76000157. Does anybody have the link to the .pdf installation instructions? It might have the replacement part number for the chrome screws.

Are you saying this guy sells chrome trim rings and screws for the lower CVO speaker grilles? Do you have any pictures?

Good luck with your project.
