Wiring for dummies
- I discovered the older bikes (pre 06) the braces don't provide for a good solid ground.
- Too many folks on here preaching their "theories" about heating up the grease in neck bearings and scaring other people
Secondly there were actually a couple of others on another forum that stated they read on this forum the same thing and again with no facts to back it up.
I mean think about this statement for a sec.. Do you realize how much current it would actually take to heat that bearing grease up to a point where it would liquefy and seep from seals.
The PBR300x4, well all I can say there is search here, search other forums including car audio forums and you will find PLENTY of facts to back up my distaste for the PBR300x4. Couple that with my own experiences with 3 different PBR300x4 amps that all crapped out either from heat or gain control issues. It's a bad amp, that's all there is to it. The PBR300x2, totally different beast altogether. They are both BR technology so I don't know for a fact what causes the heat issues with them but they are there and the issues are well known.
I will not post something that is not fact and in one specific case I remember calling someone out on a post they made stating that he "heard" the PBR300x4 getting so hot it melted the outer fairing cap. No way that happened unless there were other underlying circumstances.
Dude if I did something to **** you off, I apologize. Just here to help people. Same as you..

The system is LOUD...sounds great! The OL thought Kid Rock was playing live in our garage lol. Thanks again to Ultra and everyone else that helped out. I couldn't have done it without the help. That being said, if I can do this install, anyone can. Just don't be in a rush and do it right the first time.
