ah ok..
so your Sony radio is wired to amp as follows correct?
White wire to RF white wire
White/black wire to RF white/black wire
Gray wire to RF gray wire
Gray/black wire to RF gray/black wire
if so, and you can't get above 32 on that radio with the eq settings to flat, gains on amp set to 7, filter on amp set to AP then you might want to look at different speakers. I can turn my radio all the way up (with amp gains turned down) with the MM651 speakers and still won't distort.
Also on a side note. Using 4 ohm speakers on an amp that's stable at 2 ohms, you're leaving 1/4 of your amp's power unused. You really should be using 2 ohm speakers on that amp in a 2 speaker configuration (tweeters don't count)

yeap but I will double check sat.....I used same amp on last speaker setup only change i did was radio and speakers I did notice the 4oh t165 I ran last was great with stock headunit but not sony HU thats why I looked at the new speakers.....
what is a good 2oh speaker? I might look at a ss amp later this summer and go that route.....yikes thought I had a good grip on where I was going with this..
friend brought it over when i was working on bike what and where does one find polifil? just wrap speaker?
