Default Precision Power Ion amps

Has anyone been able to verify if the Precision Power Ions are sister amps to the Soundstreams? I sent a note to PPI about this and FM issues. No verification on same MFR but they were quick to say that they're not aware of any FM reception issues. I ask because Sonic Electronix is authorized i-net retailer for these at fair prices...

The original company (DEI) that manufactured PPI products some years ago also manufactured Orion and A/D/S products. Looks like they kept Orion and got rid of the other two in 2009/

Epsilon is the mother company of Soundstream, Precision Power, Power Acoustik, Farenheith, SPL, Kole Audio since Nov 7th 2009 so I guess it's safe to say that technology between brands would be shared to minimize production and engineering costs.

Looks promising! If it doesn't have the FM issue I may grab one for brothers bike!

Which looks like best fit?

I think you should run a mono block for each channel. 2 in the left saddlebag (front and rear channels), 2 in the right saddlebag (front and rear channels), and then 1 in the tourpak for the saddlebag lids.

Great info in this thread. Thanks UN. I remember back in the day everyone in the know was talking about PPI's. An Orion for cheap.
