Well im getting ready to do a complete radio ,amp , speaker upgrade and i purchased a RR kit and was looking over the directions and just was wondering if im understanding it correctly. If i hook up the power ,ground and steering wheel connector and hook the orange block to the stock harley plug i should be set . I shouldent have to mess with the 4 speaker wires that also come out of plug since i will be running rca cables to the amp from radio . If anybody could tell me if thats sounds right or if im forgetting something before i dive into this project .. Thanks DHolt
I went with polk mm 651's and 691's and pushing them with a 4ch 1600w Lanzar amp my HU is a Sony not sure exact model previous owner had it installed . I went with the cycle sound bag lids for the 691's My brother just did this exact same setup and sounds amazing so it took me a whole 2min to decide i had to have it also lol . I will post some pics as soon as i get this done..
1. Class A/B = power hungry
2. 10ga power wire recommendation? That's odd. Based on calculations that amp should require minimum of 4ga power wire feeding it if the specs are true.
Wow - Looks promising. Would really be surprised if it put out the rated power, but hell do i need 300w RMS per channel??? If it put out half i'd be happy - and at that price it's a great gamble.
Please let us know how it turns out! I saw their Class D amps and the 3 and 4 ch both look promising (if they fit).
