Got my amp and speakers in this afternoon. Wanted to say thanks to all on the Forum for helping. And a big thanks to Ultranutz for his step by step directions. The directions were spot on. It sounds great! I have the gain set about 5-6, does that seem right for a stock hu and the pbr 300x2. Polk mm651 speakers.
I got the same recommendation from him. Havnt pulled the trigger yet. Glad to hear it works well. For someone who has never done this type of thing, easy install?
I got it done in about 3.5 hrs. Aside from a hole alignment issue with the rings, which i just drilled new pilots, it went smooth. I had one question about where to ground and that got answered quickly. I've never done this before, I just took my time and read directions a few times. I also took the time to lay out all the parts and tools before I started and that helped alot.

glad you got it all together and yeah the gain controls seem to be pretty much where they need to be but again, setting gains in an audio system is like tuning a bike. No 2 are the same. As long as you're happy with the way it turned out and the way it sounds, that's all that matters. :-)

yes sir this is a very easy install. Just takes a little time and as mhill0826 pointed out, it starts making more sense when you take it all out of the boxes and lay it out on the table.
