I have a 2007 RoadGlide, the imput from the stereo to my phone is not working. When I push the cable in the radio keeps playing. I thought it was the cable and I bought a new cable and it is not turning the radio off and engaging the cell phone or MP3 player. What might be the problem?

You have to select the AUX option.It doesn't automatically switch to aux input.

 

Not sure to select the aux option but went out to check it and plugged the cable in and it worked. Did not do anything but plug it in. I will check my owners manual when I get home tomorrow from work. Thanks for the replies.

 

you shouldn't have to hit AUX when you plug something into that input. It's autosensing. Sounds like you might have an input plug going out on you. If that's the case, Iron Cross Audio will be able to help you with that.
